Small Favors 2021

I am pleased to share for the second year, my artwork has been selected for the Small Favors show at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia. Juried by ceramic artist, Kensuke Yamada, it was chosen from over 800 pieces submitted. Creating small artwork for over twenty years, it is wonderful to see that today, so many are embracing art at this small scale. This tiny box is under 2 inches, with delicate thin slabs that I hand stamped a repeating tiny message: I Miss You. The thin walls convey the fragility of our emotions while in forced separation from loved ones this past year. Iā€™m also excited to share this piece sold within moments of the show opening. You may visit the show in person and online here.
